Dear Diary-1/20/16
1/20/2016 -
So much for reading more...I haven't even started the book yet. But I know if I get a couple hours in I can probably finish it.
Yesterday we started moving around the bedrooms. Rachel and I are now in the smallest room, and Mom is in the largest. We have to make the rooms look big for when potential buyers come to look at the house. We didn't finish though, so Mom had to sleep on the couch. We will probably do more work today and tomorrow to get the rooms back in order.
I am kinda sick of working from 8-3 instead of doing school. I never get to use my brain, and I'm so tired at the end of each day. I suppose it's good, though, because I can get more done around the house to prepare for moving.
Yesterday I read some chapters in Genesis for my devotions and I realized that Abraham lied twice about his wife, calling her his sister, even though he kind of got in trouble and was rebuked the first time. I guess I do that all the time though: do something wrong, "learn" from it, and then return to it. It's so pathetic, but it shows us that we need Jesus.
Tonight I have to teach a Kid's Club lesson, so I'm pretty nervous. It's about Jesus death, and it focuses on how He willingly paid for our sins. It's a big responsibility to teach this lesson, I think, because I want to make sure that I'm communicating the story and not leaving out a part.
Well, I have Spanish class now. -
