New Year: What HAS Changed?
Buenos Dias!
In my last post, I discussed New Year's resolutions. I listed some things that I needed to change, but I didn't make any promises.
Here is what HAS changed:
DEVOTIONS!!!!!
With the new year, I started a reading plan. It goes through the whole Bible in a year. There are 4-6 chapters every day, which is a lot, but I'm using Bible Gateway to listen to the chapters, making it easier to get stuff done, and think about God's Word at the same time. I am very excited that I am improving, and I owe it all to God.
What have I learned so far?
One thing has stuck out in all the beginning chapters. Genealogies. Normally, I skip them, but I'm trying to read the whole Bible. I ended up being reminded of God's very amazing plan for everyone from the beginning. Throughout all the generations, his plan stayed the same. It's overwhelming when you pause and think about how everlasting God is.
Book Update:
I got Children to a Degree: Growing up Under the Third Reich by Christian Horst.
I haven't started it yet, but hopefully soon.
